The 2022-2023 snow season subjected Midwesterners to one of the most relentless winters of recent memory. Sore from shoveling and deprived of Vitamin D, guitarist Conor Lee hunkered down and sought refuge in his imagination. Gradually returning to music after navigating creative burnout, Lee specifically set out to write a track that would be fun to perform, lift his spirits, and serve as a distraction from the cold (figuratively and literally) for himself and listeners. “I’m not really here” became a winter mantra and “Sweat'' was born. Evoking images of deserts, tumbleweeds, and Spaghetti Western anti-heroes, “Sweat” is an energetic track that will transport listeners to somewhere else. Serving as a follow-up to his latest release, “Candyland,” “Sweat” is part of a series of upcoming singles to be released by Lee in 2024.
